100 Days To Brave - Day 1

( Click here to order your copy ) I've noticed several of my friends sharing their stories on social media lately with the hashtag #100DaysToBrave, and my curiosity took over so I downloaded the book to my tablet. Let's just say, I think I have found a new favorite daily spiritual devotional.  Perfect. Just what I needed. Something short, sweet and meaningful to add to my day.  The first assignment (day one) is to make a public declaration that you are committing the next 100 days to ‘being brave’. He did it! Travis graduated high school, and Mom and I were beyond blessed that we were able to fly out and be there with him on his big day.

Friday Night Musings

It dawned on me tonight that I have no life. I'm not sure if it was the fact that I am home, alone, on a Friday night or... yeah, there is no "or". I have no life. So I sit here, glass of wine in hand, and have tried something fairly new. I went to Hobby Lobby last night and loaded up on all kinds of scrap-booking paper, Mod Podge and wooden foundations for my soon-to-be amazingly decoupaged projects.  This one turned out pretty cool, I think. I have no idea what I'm going to do with a decoupaged picture of myself, but whatever. It was a practice run. :) I still have no life, but at least I know how to entertain myself for a few hours without getting into some sort of mischief.
