An Update! Finally....!

So what has been going on in my life, you might ask? A LOT! First, I moved in to a house in Cameron with my best friend and absolutely love it. We are slowly but surely fixing it up... we started this past weekend by adding new flooring in the kitchen. Painting is going to be next! It's gonna look super cute when we are done. I'm actually typing this from a hotel room in Houston.. I finally got my paperwork done with my recruiter and am here to test at the MEPS center tomorrow. To say that I'm nervous is a freakin' understatement. My roommate is really chill and has gone through all of this before so she's really helping put my nerves at ease. Still, I'm scared. Haha. I am all about trying new things, but this military stuff is completely outside of my territory. It scares the living you-know-what out of me. My family and friends have all been SUPER supportive though, and I couldn't do this without them. XOXO!

This Is The Shizzznitt!!!

Seriously. I think I am addicted.

Let Them Eat Bugs and Shit...

Did you know those shiny jellybeans you put into your pie hole have been tainted with shellac? Yes, the stuff used on your dining room table. Do you know where shellac comes from? It comes from the excretions of the Kerria lacca insect. Yes, excretions. Let's pretend you don't eat candy... I'm sure you eat apples (at least every now and then). Take a wild guess at how they get that apple to shine? Yep. Shellac. Which I'm now referring to as "insect shit". I know most of you won't click on the link below to find out what other messed up junk you're eating. But I hope one or two of you will. Not because I care about you, but because we have to share this planet and I want you to care about you. Some other things you're eating on a daily basis may include: bone char, horse tallow (just google that) and VIRUSES on your sandwich meats.
